For over 35 years, I have been helping my clients deal with the legal problems due to overwhelming debt and foreclosure. If you need legal counsel for bankruptcy, representation to save your home, to protect you from creditor harassment or strategic advice to discover alternatives to bankruptcy, such as loan modifications, I will work to create individualized solutions to your situation.
I believe in providing straightforward answers to the financial questions troubling my clients. When you are confronting any type of legal crisis, the last thing you need is ineffective counsel.
My legal career began when I graduated Brooklyn Law School in 1968 as a Juris Doctor. I was admitted to the practice of law in New York State in 1969 and am currently admitted to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, which include Nassau County, Suffolk County and the Five Boroughs of New York City. I am also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C.
I started my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, New York from 1969 to 1975. In 1975, I went into the private practice of law, first in Mineola then in Garden City and now in Carle Place, New York. I was a member of the Rules Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York starting in 1983; a member of the Nassau County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee, a lecturer in Bankruptcy Committee Lecture Series at the Bar Association; a member of the former Assistant District Attorneys Association of Nassau County, a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Who's Who in American Law as Bankruptcy Expert, and voted by Long Island Pulse Magazine as a Bankruptcy Expert. I am also the author of articles on the subject of bankruptcy.
I first started representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings in 1976 and have represented many thousands of individuals and corporations in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
